He has more than eight years of experience rangin from the Legal Aid work and currently on privately funded cases. He has many successful cases including VISA and Entry Clearance application, Immigration Tribunal, Judicial Review at the High Court and Court of Appeal matters. These non-exhaustive area of law comprises of Review Applications, Relationship and Marriage Applications, Students Applications for VISA and Extension of VISA, HSMP, Long Stay Residence Applications, Citizenship and Nationality, Asylum and Human Rights matters and Deportations.

Also, efficiently deals with Deportation cases. He had dealt with client matter seriously even during unsocial hours and obtained excellent positive results.

Qualified in the year 1999 as a Lawyer/ Advocate in India and practiced in the areas of civil litigation, criminal and banking until 2006 in various courts in Kerala. Assisted in several high profile banking cases and had own case load of diversity cases.

Joined the firm in the year 2007 as a legal assistant and practiced in the areas of prison law, crime, private civil litigation and employment. Provides assistance to clients with their parole hearing, adjudication, re-call etc under the prison law and has assisted the solicitors in the firm in preparing and conducting the criminal cases. He has also being assisting the Principal in employment matters including unfair dismissal matters and pre- Tribunal hearing preparations and in civil litigation works. He is fluent in Malayalam and is acquainted with South Indian Languages and Hindi.

Amit Sathwara

Amit Sathwara joined the firm as a Paralegal in April 2009 and commenced his training contract in September 2009. He currently assists the Property and Civil Litigation departments.

Amit has substantial experience of all aspects of residential property transactions including Right-to-Buys, leases, new builds and shared ownerships. He also has considerable experience in re-mortgages and specialised finance such as Sharia Compliant mortgages, Transfers of Equity and registration of Legal Charges.
Amit has attended court in Civil matters and has extensive experience in advocacy in Landlord and Tenant matters. He is fluent in Guajarati.

Mehfooz Khankhara

He joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2007 and commenced his training contract in September 2009. He currently assists the Property department.

He has substantial experience of all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions including right-to-buys, leases, re-mortgages, new builds and shared ownerships. He also has considerable experience in all landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals and rent reviews.
He has attended court in Civil matters and has experience in advocacy in Landlord and Tenant matters. He is fluent in English, Guajarati, Urdu and Hindi.

Sandi Balendra

Sandi joined as a Trainee Solicitor having accumulated a range of legal experience in most legally funded areas of law and has experience in Community Care Law, Housing, Immigration and Debt. She has previously worked for a C.A.B and also for her Local Member of Parliament.

During her previous seat in Community Care, Sandi has conducted her own caseload and successfully challenged the social services department through Judicial Review to challenge termination of care support, failure to provide accommodation and support to children in need, unaccompanied asylum seeker children and failure to provide services to persons with severe disabilities where they are precluded from receiving services by virtue of their immigration status.
